Our
Cooperative officially started operating in the
passenger transport sector in 1989 under the name
of Mini-Bus Coop Ltd, with a statute inspired by
an ideology of cooperativism. Throughout the years,
inspite of our satisfactory financial performance
and the achievements gained for our members, we
have recognised the need to continuously restructure
our transport sector and to diversify our operations
in order to meet the beckoning challenges that lay
ahead in the future
In 1999 we changed our Cooperative name to Coop
Services Ltd and the latest figures show that over
80% of the operators in this sector are members.
An Annual General Meeting is held each year where
a management committee is elected. The central office
is, to date, operating two main departments: the
Transport Department and the Sales & Marketing
Department. In the near future, further restructuring
will lead us to new and challenging adventures which
complement our present operations.
